A NEW BLOG - A NEW FOCUS
The Flourished Home - Introducing the New Blog
“Flourish: 1. to be in a vigorous state; thrive. 2. to be in its or in one’s prime; be at the height of, excellence, influence, etc. 3. to grow luxuriantly, or thrive in growth, as a plant.
Home: 1. domicile. 2. congenial environment 3. a place of origin”
At the beginning of this year, I made a personal commitment to push myself a little further past the boundaries of my comfort zone . . . to make some declarations of intention and to put some timelines in place, while allowing space for thoughtful processes to unfold. On one hand, some things happened much faster than I had imagined - and I can't wait to unveil them! On the other hand, I'm still checking off some to-do lists, with this blog being one of those items.
For so many years I had been using Blogger to share posts and under the old business name, Interior Concepts by Wanda. Now that I've incorporated my full name into my business identity, (and hopefully, soon, an updated and well-considered logo and brand package to match), it's time to move forward. It's a bit like all of the reorganizing we do when January 1st arrives. Let go of the old to allow room for the new. To flourish where we live!
Step-by-step is how I approach designing a new interior so I think it's appropriate for the "new" blog to be updated in the same fashion. Tweaking is always optional and allowed.
A Boutique Approach to Interiors
The team and I are beyond thrilled to be working on some gorgeous projects, this year! In the last twelve months, I've really turned my focus in the direction of excellence as a boutique interior design firm. A focus whereby I can offer high-touch, highly personal, and creative services for clients with whom we have the best communication, the best collaborations, and where the value of our services is well-received.
Since some of the projects we've been awarded can span over a year or two, (especially when it's a manor-sized home to be completed from bottom to top), a great connection and chemistry are key factors to our success. It's often revealed in a very short time of the first meeting. We're very fortunate to have been paired with such a couple, building a lakefront home in the Charlotte area. I'll be sharing project snippets, along the way, as well as others we've had in the works.
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing a visit during the "soft-opening" of the new blog! I can't wait to bring more news and updates your way!
